Genius Gourmet Partners with the Best Defense Foundation
The Best Defense Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on helping our military veterans and their families. Founded in 2018 by former NFL Linebacker, Donnie Edwards, the Best Defense Foundation honors and celebrates our veterans from past conflicts, including, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and those who have recently retired. This Foundation is driven by volunteers – people who are passionate about supporting military veterans and theirfamilies. Team members hail from all parts of the U.S. and Europe, but are united by one simple goal: Taking Care of the Ones Who Took Care of Us.
The Best Defense Foundation and Delta Air Lines will be taking WWII veterans back to Normandy to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The veterans will experience 12 days of celebrations, remembrances and commemorations in honor of the liberation of France and Europe and their historic return!
